Advance Settlement Cash

Involved in a hit and run and we found the driver. The driver was riding his mothers car and my attorney is filing a lawsuit against both the insurance company and the driver. This is a very abnormal case that is going to take a very abnormally long process. My injuries were pretty bad but now I’m on crutches. I was smacked almost head on when the driver took a right turn and decided to ignore the pedestrian walk some 30 odd feet or so. I’m not a spring chicken so the injury is taken a little longer to heal. I’m also no expert by any means about the legal process or if my case would qualify for an settlement advance but I do know I surely need the cash something badly. As a result of the accident I’m unable to work because I can’t stand without crutches now. I have long term disability but it didn’t cover my costs right away and the checks are miniature in size. I’m hoping your company can help me. Here are the questions: Since it wasn’t the actual driver that was the primary holder of the insurance will I still have a chance? If you decide to take on this case will I have to sign anything saying that if I lose the case I will have to pay back the advance? How long generally does it take for a case like mine to get an advance or will I have to wait until all my medical stuff is cleared? Will you need to contact my employer at some point in time? I would rather you not if that is fine.

1 Comment to Advance Settlement Cash

  1. As long as you have an active lawsuit you will have a chance of securing a settlement cash advance against your case. There is a contract that you will need to sign that outlines the payments and states rates etc. If you lose your case you will not be required to pay back the settlement advance. The amount of time really depends and varies from case to case. Generally speaking if your attorney can get over the case documents to the lender it can take less than a day although this isn’t always the case. Your work status has nothing to do with getting an advance so no our lenders will not be in contact with your employer.
