Accident Claim

You may have recently been involved in an accident and filed a claim. At the same point you may be considering lawsuit funding against the accident claim to help pay for the necessities. There are thousands of accident claims filed each month. Most of these claims are filed by an attorney on behalf of their client. At LawLeaf we always recommend if you were hurt in an accident you should first contact a lawyer to see if you have a legal right to be compensated for your injuries. Through settlement or litigation, you may be able to obtain compensation for pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, ongoing medical expenses, out of pocket expenses and other related damages directly related to the accident. It is important to understand if you have been involved in an accident you must file an accident claim within the deadline or you can lose your right to recover damages.

Some of the different types of accident claims include:

How quickly should I file a claim?

If you have been injured in an accident you will need to file a claim immediately. There are statutes of limitations for each state. If you go past the statute of limitations you can no longer file a claim. If you have questions regarding time frames we recommend contacting a local attorney or your state bar association.

Will I receive a lawsuit cash advance against my accident claim?

It will depend upon your case. If you have a pending lawsuit we will first request documentation from your attorney. These documents are used to get a better idea of the strength of your case. If you just filed a claim against your lawsuit and the documentation does not yet exist, we can still work with you. LawLeaf will send a request for documentation to your attorney and will follow-up until the information is sent. This can take several weeks to a month depending upon the case.

When applying for a lawsuit funding against an accident claim the underwriter viewing your file will make a decision based upon strength of case. This decision is oftentimes based upon negligence and the ability for the defense to pay compensation to the plaintiff. It also helps if you’ve received a previous offer to settlement the case.

If you are currently searching for an accident claim lawsuit cash advance, begin by applying online with LawLeaf today.

Whiplash Settlement

Have you been a victim of an automobile accident and as a result whiplash occurred? Whiplash is very common for those people that get hit from behind in a car accident. Whiplash is a common term that is used to describe neck pain following an acciddent. Whiplash causes injury to the neck area more specific to the ligaments, muscles and tendons. At the time of impact the neck may be jolted in an abnormal position which ultimately effects normal range of motion. When someone is hit from behind by a motor vehicle the impact of the vehicle can force a persons neck to move into such a position which causes whiplash.

A whiplash settlement is compensation paid the victim paid through a lump sum or over a period of time (structured settlement).  The amount of money one may receive for a whiplash injury will be dependent upon the severity of the injury amongst other things.

If you have been involved in a whiplash and seeking a fair settlement for injury consider the following:

  • Are you being compensated for pain and suffering?
  • Have you lost a job or wages due to the injury?
  • Were you injured on other parts of your body?
  • What types of medical expenses have you incurred?

It is quite possible if you were involved in a car accident recently the onset of pain didn’t happen on the same day of the accident. In actuality its quite common that the onset could happen a day or even a week later.  In order to maximize your chances of getting a whiplash settlement its always recommended you seek medical attention right after an accident has occurred. You should also consider not speaking with the other persons insurance company until you’ve contacted legal representation. There are situations in which a plaintiff decides to speak with the insurance company. They may feel great and only interested in getting compensation for damaged property. The mistake some people make soon after a whiplash accident is making a statement to the insurance company that injury has not occurred. The problem with such statement is several days later the plaintiff could be hospitalized with a whiplash injury and the statement may be held against them for any future compensation for the accident.

For victims that are currently in the litigation process for a whiplash injury and seeking compensation but can’t wait, contact LawLeaf today for lawsuit funding. LawLeaf provides lawsuit cash advances throughout the United States of victims that can’t wait for settlement. We have helped people throughout the United States that are in search of a lawsuit loan pending the settlement process. LawLeaf can provide lawsuit funding for an array of different types of accidents resulting in whiplash.

Paying a settlement advance back

I am considering applying for a settlement advance. I was involved in a boating accident last summer and I’m now beginning the investigation stages of settlement advances for my case. I would like to know how is a settlement advance paid back and if there never is a settlement out of the case what happens? The accident occurred in Hawaii while I was on vacation during my honeymoon!

How much are these cases worth

I am in litigation for an accident that happened as a result of a boat that I was on hitting another boat in a canal. The boat ride was a scenic ride and there were a few people on board that were hurt including myself. I am not really looking for lawsuit funding I just would like a gage to find out exactly how much money I should ask for during the process. I am considering handling this case without an attorney and have been talking with both their company and insurance company. Any insight?

Settlement Loan in Jacksonville for boating accident

I live on the water in Jacksonville, FL. I had a hard time finding a company willing to provide me with a settlement loan for a boating accident because my attorney wasn’t able to provide the information on negligent party or something like that. The case was very short lived during that time because we didn’t know the result until we proved the negligent party was at fault. We’ve since talked to the other persons insurance company and provided them with our case I think although I’m not exactly sure. I do know that I will get some money from my case. I’ve signed up with other companies in the past and they wouldn’t give me money and I’m not happy about it because its a strong case. They also told me because of the reports and the way the boating accident happened that it was weak. I am now looking again and want to know if the settlement loan laws in the state of Florida may have changed and also can you give me an understanding of my chances to get some money before my case reaches the compensation stage. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply.

Cruise Ship Accident

I was vacationing on a cruise ship with my fiancee and she slip and fell and injured her leg. The staff on board did a poor job in cleaning up a spill that happened during a catered dinner. The accident happened near the end of the vacation thank goodness. We hired a lawyer out of California that handles these sort of accidents and we are close to reaching a settlement without having to go to court. Because we are trying to buy a home and she is out of work for the time being we are considering signing up for a lawsuit loan to help pay for a down payment on a house that we have our eyes on right now. I’m not very familiar with how the process works. Can you please clarify if we decided to apply with a company will they look at the case even if looks like it won’t be settled in court but out of court? I’m assuming your lenders will charge higher rates if the case goes long term which makes sense.

Boat Accident Michigan

Anyone have experience in suing for a boat accident? I live in Michigan and we were hit by another boat coming out of the docks. The boat got really messed up. My back is in pain and I’m wearing a neck brace. My passenger hit part of the side deck and was hurt as well. My doctor told me that I have whip lash from the accident.
