Contract Disputes
Suing Over a Breach of Contract For Work
I have a lawsuit against an internet for breach of contract. I have spent 10 of thousands of dollars in the development of my companies website, content management system and contact management system along with other bells and whistles. During the initial stage of the contract we made the company sign off on a not to exceed clause of no more than 10% of the overall project costs. When going into the project we hired a consultant to review our business process and our online e-commerce functionality of our current site, along with a wish list of different features we would add to our already rather large site. It was agreed upon by both parties that an implementation of this magnitude could take no less than 6 months of payment of contract. Our payment structure was a typical 1/3 prior, during and finalization of the contract. Unfortunately the company has not held up their promises and as a result has decided to pull out of the implementation totally.
We have spent close to 400 man hours, paid the company close to $120,000 in development and implementation costs without a finished product. It is presumed by the company that they were unaware of what was required prior to the design phase and that our needs changed during the implementation phase. This is far from the truth. To make matters worse they have decided only to provide a refund of less than half of whats been paid. We have lost a ton of prospective business and due to their testing phase or so they say, our main site was down without back-ups. This is a rather large company located in the United States and they have the resources to hold this case up in the court system.
Like many other small business’s we have certain financial obligations to our employees and by taking such a large hit we are seeking financial assistance during the litigation process. I am hoping that your company will assist us in making this happen.

Contract Lawsuit with Developer
I am part of a smaller business that was in the development stage of a piece of software that was being built by a company here in the United States. The company we contracted out to was a smaller company with a good track record in implementing custom software applications. We were in the development stages when the company decided to push back on some of the functionality we agreed upon. In the contract and the development agreement it stated that the work would be done and payment was contingent upon completion. We are several hundreds of thousands of dollars into the development stage when the company is deciding that they can’t provide the functionality requested within the contract and development document. They told us that they let go of the sales representative because he sold us something that couldn’t conceptionally be done. When we requested a total refund of the project they told us no because they put development dollars into the work. We wouldn’t have gone with the company in the first place if they told us they couldn’t complete the job. The owner of our company has spent a boat load of money and the company is sinking. We were hoping to get enough money through some sort of litigation financing because the case is set to take some time before a settlement is potentially reached. I’m not sure if your company provides this kind of funding and if not please refer me to one that does.
Contract Disputes Business Settlement Loan
I’m involved in a contract dispute over a business dealing I did over a year ago. I am going to try to secure a settlement loan to keep my small business afloat. I am right now trying to pay down some of the company debt and this dispute is a real drain on my financial position. I am searching for a company that is willing to provide some sort of relief to my business until this dispute is settled. Can you please provide me with information on how to proceed?
