Harassed Sexually at Work

I have a two tier lawsuit against a previous employer which started as a sexual harassment charge and ended with getting wrongfully terminated from my current position. I held a management position at a distribution company for about 15 years, 5 of which was in a management role. My boss at the time got a little to close to me and began diving into my personal life. At a trade show early spring we went out had a few drinks and he came onto me. I told him that I was not interested in that type of relationship and left it at that. The next day he apologized to me and I was fine. That night we went back out and took several clients with us. We were all dancing on the dance floor when he laid a kiss on me. Although greatly offended I was still in a frame of mind to give him another attempt to apologize and leave it at that. Over the course of the next three weeks he became overbearing to me and I unfortunately reported him to human resources for inappropriate touching of my breast at work. I threatened them if he weren’t terminated by the close of business I was going to file a sexual harassment charge against him and since he had a wife he would be up the creek.

By the end of the day I was fired from my position without an explanation. I was not offered any type of severence pay nor did they give me a legitimate reason of my firing. I spoke to an attorney who is now representing my case. The attorney indicated to me yesterday that if I was in a pickle that I could secure lawsuit funding against both of these charges. He did tell me that it could be an obstacle in finding a company that would fund these types of cases. I need to know if your company provides such services and if not can you let me know one that does.

Sexual Harassment Settlement Loan

I have filed a lawsuit against my employer of 10 years with the EEOC. My case involves a person at my work, my boss, who has been touching me inappropriately and making passes at me for the last month. I handed my case over to an employment attorney who is now representing my case. To make things worse when I reported the incident instead or reprimanding my boss, they decided to terminate me from my position because they said I was a distraction to others around me. I have been out of work for over a month and I’m having a hard time finding another position because my job is so specialized. I can’t use my last company as a reference and its red flagging me in the interview process. I can’t say that I have a lawsuit against my previous employer for sexual harassment charges because I’ll never get a job. I need some help with my financial situation. I’m searching for a company that can provide me with a pre settlement loan. Can your company help me?

Lawsuit Filed Against My Employer

I recently filed a lawsuit against my employer for wrongful termination and harassment. My attorney and I have both agreed that while I’m waiting for my lawsuit to settle I should consider looking at a settlement advance as a financial option. I have been out of work for almost two months, no severance package and no income coming into my home. I have been using my savings to survive and while I’m looking for a new job I need money for the necessities. I have contacted several companies over the past week that weren’t even interested in looking at my case. I would like to know if your lenders would be interested in looking at my case?

Thank you very much for your help:

Case is in Oklahoma but I’m now living in Iowa

Request for Pre settlement funding in Alaska

I live in Fairbank, Alaska and I’ve hired a lawyer to handle a sexual harassment charge. The lawsuit is considered more of a personal injury lawsuit than anything. I’m not too familar with how your service will accomidate my financinal needs but have read over many pages of your website and see there could be a potential fit. If I were to sign up for pre settlement funding would I qualify if my attorney is being retained on an hourly rate rather than a contingentcy rate?
