Accident Claim

You may have recently been involved in an accident and filed a claim. At the same point you may be considering lawsuit funding against the accident claim to help pay for the necessities. There are thousands of accident claims filed each month. Most of these claims are filed by an attorney on behalf of their client. At LawLeaf we always recommend if you were hurt in an accident you should first contact a lawyer to see if you have a legal right to be compensated for your injuries. Through settlement or litigation, you may be able to obtain compensation for pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages, ongoing medical expenses, out of pocket expenses and other related damages directly related to the accident. It is important to understand if you have been involved in an accident you must file an accident claim within the deadline or you can lose your right to recover damages.

Some of the different types of accident claims include:

How quickly should I file a claim?

If you have been injured in an accident you will need to file a claim immediately. There are statutes of limitations for each state. If you go past the statute of limitations you can no longer file a claim. If you have questions regarding time frames we recommend contacting a local attorney or your state bar association.

Will I receive a lawsuit cash advance against my accident claim?

It will depend upon your case. If you have a pending lawsuit we will first request documentation from your attorney. These documents are used to get a better idea of the strength of your case. If you just filed a claim against your lawsuit and the documentation does not yet exist, we can still work with you. LawLeaf will send a request for documentation to your attorney and will follow-up until the information is sent. This can take several weeks to a month depending upon the case.

When applying for a lawsuit funding against an accident claim the underwriter viewing your file will make a decision based upon strength of case. This decision is oftentimes based upon negligence and the ability for the defense to pay compensation to the plaintiff. It also helps if you’ve received a previous offer to settlement the case.

If you are currently searching for an accident claim lawsuit cash advance, begin by applying online with LawLeaf today.

I 95 Traffic Accident

This past year I was involved in an accident on interstate 95 heading towards Georgia. My vehicle was hit from behind as I was exiting one of the ramps in Georgia. The accident put a major damper on my vacation because I was admitted to a local hospital and stayed for almost 2 days. It ended my trip. The insurance company agreed to pay the expenses for damages to my vehicle, my hospital visit and loss wages. I spent more than $5000.00 planning and booking my trips. I was refunded some money but not all. Part of the settlement was to get back money from the vacation that never happened, a plus 2 week wages over and beyond the amount of time out of the hospital and additional monies for pain and suffering and potential medical treatments in the future.

The counter was absolutely horrific and as a result my attorney filed a personal injury lawsuit against the insurance company. The offer that they came up with was way short than what I believed would have been a fair offer. I am now looking at lawsuit funding to help pay for some of my expenses. I admit I’m not exactly sure how long this will take because quite honestly this was my first traffic accident. I am going to fill out an online form but I’m stuck on the amount of money that I may borrow. I read on your website that you can request as much as you want and if approved they will come back with the maximum amount. Does your company only look at what the first settlement offer was and use that percentage or will you look at what my attorney feels I should get out of the case?

This is obviously for pre settlement funding.

Claim Funding

I am looking for claim funding from a company that can fund lawsuits. This is a 6 figure claim and I’m having trouble because of the amount of money that I am requesting. I was told by a few different companies that they provide claim funding for motor vehicle accidents they can’t provide the full amount of money I’m asking for. This is becoming a big problem because I’ve read several different articles about getting more money at a later date. I hear its almost impossible. I am wondering if this is something that your company would be able to help out with because I don’t want to settle for less money.

The claim is being filed against State Farm Insurance Company. My attorney tired settling the case with them without going to court. They decided to counter offer but it was much too low. I have a claim worth near a million which is the full amount of the insurance policy of the other driver. We are asking for right around that number. We have a lot of things we are working on including a medical program for rehabilitation and bi-weekly visits or check ups. As you could imagine this is a lot of money out of my pocket because I have no insurance at all. I have also been out of work for almost 3 1/2 months. I also have severe back injury and broken bones. I want to see if there is something your company could do because I’m having a hard time doing this right now. I also read something about your company being able to help people with claim funding for cases over 100K.  The was driving a motor cycle.

Litigation Financing for Pre Settlement Lawsuit

I’m still very unclear about the whole pre settlement litigation financing company options. I’ve been involved in a lawsuit for almost a year now and I’m having financial troubles with my landlord. I’ve just received a 30 day notice that if I don’t come up with my rent I will get evicted from my apartment unit. It is very important that I get some sort of pre settlement litigation financing for my lawsuit in a big way. I was in an SUV when a truck wrecked into my drivers side. The collision uprooted my vehicle and I ended up in the woods. My SUV was totalled and I got injured after it slammed into a tree. The driver was racing his truck down the road when it lost control and crashed into me. I contacted a lawyer immediately after the accident after I was released from the hospital. I spent the night and was released the next day with major spinal injury and a broken hip. I got lodged under the dashboard. The insurance company of the other driver is very bad. They are not abiding by their word. They haven’t been good ever since they were waiting for my final medical reports and now we may not be able to settle this without some sort of hearing. My lawyer told me that in order to get me the full anti we would have to play hard ball. I lost my job last month and I don’t have an income right now. I understand that litigation financing may be my only option and unclear of the processes in getting the pre settlement loan. My lawyer told me that this should be a last resort and I’m at my end with this whole lawsuit. He understands my need and told me to shop it around a bit but was unable to give me any indication of which companies are fair. I found your company this morning and by the looks of it you can help.

Can your company help me get some sort of money against my lawsuit or do you only work with cases involving those that settled their cases? My lawsuit was filed in Indianapolis, IN.

Just Hired A Motor Vehicle Attorney Please Help

I applied for funding for a motor vehicle accident several weeks ago. I was contacted by 2 of your lenders and they told me that I need to have an attorney before I can get funding. I hired an attorney today. The attorney is located in New York City. This is where the accident occurred around a month ago. I was told by both lenders that they would be back in contact with me after I hired a lawyer. I told them to call me back this week. I know its only Monday but I am very desperate and I really do need a settlement loan. I’m not real sure how this is handled on your end and to be honest I lost the contact information of both lenders. I had it in my cell phone but I lost it over the weekend! I was going to reapply tonight but I thought that it would be unnecessary because you already have all my information and there is real no need to apply twice. I am not sure how you handle these types of situations and I’m sure it probably happens more times than not. I don’t have the contact information so can you let me know what I need to do right now to get this process rolling again? I would give you my contact information online here but I truthfully don’t want to get spammed or have anyone just call me. All the information is exactly the same I just now have an attorney.

Lawsuit Advance Loans in Dallas

I am living in Dallas and I’m looking for a company that can help me get a lawsuit advance loan for my legal case. I was in a motor vehicle accident and I just hired an attorney about 2 months ago. My attorney has been working with me but I feel like he isn’t moving this process along quick enough. I feel like this process of getting money out of the insurance company is taking way to long. I was considering hiring another attorney but a friend of mine told me that this is typical when dealing with these types of lawsuits. I am really hurting financially and I really need some help. When I spoke to my attorney on Tuesday and expressed my frustrations and told him that I am considering settling the case, he suggested I think twice about accepting an offer worth less than what I should get out of the case. I know that if we wait than maybe we can get more money out of my lawsuit but I’m just not sure if its worth it to me considering my financial situation. He told me that I could contact a company that would be willing to advance me money against my case and it may make sense considering the amount of money the insurance company is offering. I have no idea where to start so I’m asking if this is something that LawLeaf could explain to me? Is there some sort of breakdown on how you can evaluate a lawsuit advance compared to just settling a case sooner than later. Would it make more sense to get an advance or settlement my case early?

Fort Worth Texas Accident

I was in a motor vehicle accident in Fort Worth, TX last month and I am trying to find out information on a settlement loan. I have not contacted any company yet because I’m still unsure of whether I’m going to apply or not. I was involved in a different personal injury case several years ago in a different state. When I tried applying for an advance the last time I was denied because they said I had not proven or had good proof that my attorney was going to win the case. I ended up winning not a ton of money but certainly more than I previously applied for. Because I recently lost my employment I looked at possibly applying for a settlement loan to keep me afloat. This is going to be used mainly to help pay for some out of pocket expenses such as entertainment and other types of expenses, nothing critical like housing or rent payments. I have a little saved for a rainy day so this isn’t critical by any means but I do need some extra cash to get by.

When I went through it the first time the company didn’t require me to give a social security number or anything like that such as credit checks. Because things have gotten worse I was wondering if this has changed at all? I’m not in debt but I do have pretty bad credit. I also want to know if things have loosened up or tightened up. I don’t want to get my hopes up and not end up getting into a loan if its just not going to happen.

The accident was in Forth Worth Texas so I’m assuming if its viable your company may be able to help.

Detroit Personal Injury Lawsuit Funding Request

I am in a personal injury case in Detroit and I’m hoping you can answer a few of my questions about lawsuit funding. I signed up for lawsuit funding for my case in the past but each lender ultimately denied my case because they said it was to pre mature and it would take time to get all the information they needed in order to approve my case for funding. I re submited my case and because its a personal injury case I do understand they take a little more time because the attorney needs to establish liability. I hired an attorney here in Detroit. My attorney told me to re submit my case because he knows I need money badly. I went back out to the web and I found your site first and see you have a Q&A here. OK to my questions: My lawsuit is a motor vehicle accident and the attorney has established liability. I can remember them telling me there was another piece of information I was missing but can’t seem to remember, any ideas? What are the typical rates of these types of companies. I’m told they are very high and I can see and understand why but I also don’t want to get ripped off. What are the going rates for a motor vehicle accident? I was working with one company that told me about the way they receive payment and something about they wouldn’t if I lose my case. Is this true or is there any sort of hidden fees? I am going to sign up again and see that you have an application here. Am I correct by assuming you can take care of this for me and I don’t have to go and give all the information out again? Is this the only information I need to provide or am I going to get a phone call in a little while about other stuff? It took a lot of time last go around and I’m fine with that I just need to know up front.

Motor Vehicle Collision

I was involved in a motor vehicle collision in Austin last year. When my attorney took my case I was told that these cases because of the negligent factor will settle more than likely. I went through about 3 months of rehab because I had some minor back issues, a little whiplash and my car was totalled. My attorney told me that now that all these things are in order it is time to begin the process of settling the claim. The other day the offices called me up to set an appointment and I wasn’t pleasantly surprised to find out the attorney wasn’t being too up front with me. It so happens that the company handling the other drivers insurance stuff decided not to give us all the money we requested and he said we could settle for their counter offer? or we could further pursue it. I’m not sure if this is his or my problem but I do know out of pocket I’m actually losing money if I settle for that amount and it wasn’t my fault. He told me about your company and told me about this forum here. Can you let me know if this is something you could help me out with even if the insurance company won’t settle and it may take longer? I really need a cash advance because I’ve made up my mind that I don’t want to settle.

Motor Vehicle Accident Ice & Snow Result

I was in a motor vehicle accident in my home state of Wisconsin last week. The driver that hit the back of my car did so as a result of ice and snow. It was very snowy out and they didn’t use caution. I hired an attorney on Friday (yesterday) and he told me that more of these cases actually get resolved out of the courtroom and he would be contacting the insurance company to talk about getting a settlement with the insurance company. He also said that we wouldn’t be able to get a good “read” on the actual amount until my therapy and medical stuff was in place. This could take several months. I’m not sure if you can help. Is it possible to get a cash advance for my case even if the case doesn’t go to court? Would I qualify or am I wasting my time?

Motor Vehicle Accident in Tampa - Lawsuit Funding

My sister-in-law was vacationing down in Tampa, FL about 5 months ago, I think it was in St. Pete’s. She was involved in a motor vehicle accident and now looking for lawsuit funding. She contacted several companies earlier in the year and there was a problem due to where she resides on a permanent basis. After reading over your website I see that you handle both funding in Florida and in Ohio. I’m not real sure how this will play out but I’m interested in finding out how your company can provide your services and others can’t? Does this have to do with the fact that you may be located in Florida or is this because you are licensed to do business down there. She told me I was wasting my time asking this question and who knows. The concern is that my brother lost his job a few months back and they are running out of money to pay for their home etc. A little clarification would be great.

Mesa Lawsuit Cash Advancement Services

I live in Mesa Arizona and searching a lawsuit cash advancement for a case involving a motor vehicle accident. My car was struck by a tractor trailer in the outskirts of Mesa. The driver of the truck was apparently using a cell phone and that is what created the accident. I was badly injured as a result. My insurance company was able to fix the car but now I’m searching for funding while my case is being settled. My case is going to take a long time and I really need the money. I’m hoping that you can provide me with a name of one of the lenders within your network that is located in Mesa, AZ. I am also hoping that my case will be a good case for your company and if you can get me an advancement within the next few days. If I’m approved can the company send the check over night?

Fatality Case Involving Drinking & Driving

I have a friend that was killed in an motor vehicle accident due to the driver drinking and driving. The person that was driving the car was a felon and was driving the car illegally. The other driver had no insurance and was driving a car that didn’t belong to him. My friends mother has pursued a lawsuit against the person that owned the car and also the place where the guy got drunk. The unfortunate part is that the person that owned the car has barely any insurance or at least that’s what I’m told, so my friends mom hired an attorney and he recommended that they also go after the restaurant where the guy that caused the accident got drunk. My friends mom has nothing and has completely shut down for good reason. Is this a case that perhaps a legal funding company would look at considering the circumstances?

Settlement Advance Company

I’m searching for a settlement advance for a pending personal injury case. My attorney is working with the insurance company in hopes there will be a settlement before we have to take the case to court. My attorney told me since liability has been established that my case could settle before having to go to court. My case is for a wrongful death for a motor vehicle accident. My problem with looking for a company to provide me a settlement advance is the rates they charge for giving me money up front. Do you have a company that can compete with a bank or at least come close to bank loans? I have ran my case through several companies and while both companies provided me with an offer for a settlement advance the rates were through the roof. I have read over a few sites including yahoo answers and I continue to see your company in some of the answer for a good place to look. My only concern is that your company works with some of the settlement advance companies that I’ve already gotten offers from. If so will you give me additional companies that would be willing to look at my case?

Lawsuit Financing For Injury Case

I live in Rhode Island and I was vacationing in New Mexico this past summer. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident when I was blind sided going through a red light. We have just gone through the mediation process with the insurance company with no luck and now my case will go in front of a personal injury judge. I am very unfamilair with how lawsuit financing works but do understand that in some states you can’t get lawsuit financing because its not legal. Since my accident happened in New Mexico although I live in Rhode Island will this affect my chances of getting lawsuit financing for my case? I don’t know if either states allows it or doesn’t allow it. My case was filed in New Mexico.

Plaintiff Funding in New Mexico

I have a personal injury case in New Mexico and I have a question about plaintiff funding. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and I was not hurt badly but I did miss several weeks of work going to doctors appointments and some rehabilitation for my injury. I contacted last week a lawsuit funding company that provided plaintiff funding for motor vehicle accidents here in New Mexico. When the company called me back after I applied with them online they told me that I didn’t qualify for plaintiff funding because my accident wasn’t extensive enough. I’m a little confused because my accident is worth a lot of money if I win my case. Am I going to run into the same thing with other companies that offer plaintiff funding or do you believe you may have a lender willing to look at my case? My attorney told me he is more than willing to cooperate with any company as long as the terms and agreement in the contract are beneficial to me.
