Industrial Accident Lawsuit Funding

If you are currently searching for industrial accident lawsuit funding, begin by contacting LawLeaf today. Industrial accidents fall into one of two categories. Depending on how the injury occurred an industrial accident may be filed as a workman’s compensation claim or personal injury.

Prior to filing a lawsuit an attorney will need to determine who is responsible for the accident. An industrial accident can sometimes be the responsibility of the employer or in a personal injury related incident the liability may fall on the manufacturer of a piece of equipment. An individual that has been involved in an industrial accident will have to prove injury was sustained due to negligence of another person or entity.

Industrial accidents are oftentimes catastrophic. The following is a list of different types of accidents that are oftentimes related to industrial accidents:

  • Fall from Different Levels
  • Struck by Nail
  • Explosion
  • Struck by Collapsing Crane Boom
  • Caught in or Between
  • Fall from Elevation
  • Crushed by Falling Wall
  • Struck by Falling Object
  • Trench Cave-in
  • Crushed by Falling Machinery
  • Electrocution
  • Collapse of Shoring
  • Crushed by Dump Trucks
  • Caught by Rotating Part
  • Crushed by Equipment
  • Fall from Roof
  • Fall from Tower
  • Fire
  • Fall through stairwell
  • Fall through Scaffolding
  • Fall from Scaffold
  • Falling from Excavator Bucket
  • Caught in Machinery
  • Struck by a Piece of Equipment
  • Asphyxiation
  • Crushed by steel beam
  • Caught in or between Equipment
  • Asphyxiation
  • Electrical Shock
  • Caught between Backhoe Superstructure and Concrete Wall
  • Drowning
  • Struck by Falling Wall
  • Death due to burns

If you have been involved in an industrial accident and have the representation of an attorney, you may qualify for lawsuit funding with LawLeaf. If you are currently searching for a lawsuit cash advance and searching for a company that can provide a non recourse lawsuit loan, begin by applying online with LawLeaf today.

Personal Injury: Settlement Trial & Funding

Personal injury lawsuits can impact a victim both physically and monetarily. While we can’t help heel your wounds we can certainly assist you in obtaining personal injury funding for your case. If you need money to help you stay afloat, contact LawLeaf today.

If you have consulted with a personal injury attorney you may now understand that most cases don’t make it court. If fact the majority of personal injury cases settle out of court, saving money for both the attorney and defense. While this may be true there is no real guarantee that a case will reach settlement;  the attorney must always be prepared to take the appropriate steps in obtaining the best possible outcome, which sometimes can result in taking the case to court.

The reason why some people decide to secure lawsuit funding is because their case could be months away from a settlement or perhaps the defense won’t agree to a fair settlement amount. Initially a lot of work is done prior to the settlement. The attorney may gather information such as key witness statements, photographs, police reports, etc. This information is used to gain more information on how the accident occurred and to help establish liability. Another important factor is gaining the necessary information on the physical condition of the victim. An attorney will need to gather medical records, medical bills, employment records and other information necessary to document the expenses related to the accident. This information is also valuable in figuring out the total compensation a plaintiff may receive.

Once your attorney has gathered the necessary information and put a value on the claim, they will contact the insurance company for a formal offer. If the plaintiff is unable to obtain a fair settlement offer from the insurance company through the negotiation process, more than likely the attorney will file a lawsuit and demand arbitration.

The time between filing a lawsuit and requesting a trial date can take a month or longer. The trial date is set and unfortunately it’s out of the control of both the plaintiff and defense; it depends upon how busy the court is at the time the lawsuit was filed.

The amount of time that lapses between an accident occurring and the case to reaching trial can take several months to over a year. It can equally take as long to finally reach a settlement dependent upon the severity of the accident. In the event the plaintiff is not in the financial position to await settlement or trial they can secure a lawsuit cash advance against future proceeds from the case.

If you are involved in a personal injury lawsuit and looking to secure pre settlement or post settlement funding, contact LawLeaf today. For additional information on personal injury funding visit LawLeaf.

Workers Compensation & Personal Injury

At LawLeaf we can handle lawsuit funding for our clients throughout the United States, however, workers compensation lawsuit funding is limited to the following states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont and West Virginia.

What if you are not located in one of the states above?

If you are not located in one of these states but have a pending personal injury lawsuit against the negligent party, we can help. A client that has been hurt at work may have two different lawsuits: They may be seeking compensation through workers compensation and against the negligent party.

For instance: If a client is working as a carrier in Los Angeles, California and involved in a car accident he may still be eligible to receive a lawsuit cash advance against the personal injury claim.  The driver may have both a workers compensation lawsuit and a lawsuit against the other drivers insurance company. While LawLeaf can’t provide funding services against the plaintiffs workers compensation suit, we can provide similar services against the personal injury suit.

Another example: If a highway worker is hit by a passing car the worker may file a workers compensation claim and a personal injury claim for a pedestrian accident. If the accident didn’t occur in one of the states above we can still work to get a lawsuit cash advance against the pedestrian accident.

If you are currently searching for lawsuit funding begin by applying with LawLeaf today. While we may not provide workers compensation funding in your state if you have an additional personal injury lawsuit pending, we can still help.

Workers Compensation Chicago lawsuit funding

I have a workers compensation case that was just filed in Chicago. I am currently out of work with no real source of income. I would like to discuss prior to signing up for funding with a lender. Is there a way to have a non pushy company or representative call me to discuss my case without having to give you all the information that is required to process my application? I would like to discuss whether this would be a good option or not and if it makes sense for my situation. I also have several other questions which I would rather not post on this site regarding my case.

Workers compensation case funding Tennessee

I have a workers compensation case in Tennessee and I’m searching for a company that provides settlement loans. I have tried in the past to work with companies but several of the companies say they don’t provide workers compensation loans in TN. I understand there are different laws within each state but I read over the Law Leaf website today under workers compensation and I see that your company will take cases in the state. If I sign up for a settlement loan with your company will you look at my case or am I wasting my time?

What are the typical rates for legal funding in the state are they higher or lower than other states?

Workers Compensation Funding in Minnesota

I’m looking for my husband for a company that can give us lawsuit funding for a workers compensation claim in Minnesota. This is the third time we’ve filed for a workers compensation claim since he has worked. The injury occurred at a client site when a scaffold collapsed. We tried to file for workers compensation funding at his last job and there was something in the law that didn’t allow for workers compensation advances in that state. I think I read something on another website that indicated we could get funding for this case out of Minnesota. Can you please let me know if we can get a lawsuit loan in Minnesota for workers compensation?

Missouri Workers Compensation Lawsuit Loan

I have an open workers compensation case in Missouri and I’m looking for a good deal on a lawsuit loan. My case has yet reached a settlement and I’ve hired a workers comp lawyer in my town. I have been out of work for almost 4 months without a steady income coming into my household. I have a ton of bills that are unpaid which means getting a lawsuit loan is very important. I was recommended by my brother to try your service but he also told me that not all states fund workers compensation. I’m unaware of any law in Missouri that wouldn’t allow me to get a lawsuit loan for my case but because I’ve never gone through this process in the past I’m still unsure. Can you please let me know if the law here in MO would allow me to get a lawsuit loan for my case?

Louisiana Workers Compensation Cash Advancement

I was injured in my place of work and hired a lawyer for a workers compensation claim in the state of Louisiana. My attorney told me that he would be fine if I had to contact a company that provide cash advancement services for my workers compensation case. This is the second workers comp claim I had to file with this company. Many years ago I tried getting a cash advancement for a workers comp claim when I was injured at work and the company told me they didn’t fund cases out of Louisiana. I read something on the internet tonight that suggested that there were still states that didn’t fund cases for workman compensation cases and would like to know if Louisiana is one of those states. My attorney told me that he has worked with companies in the past for personal injury cases but never for workers compensation cases. He told me that he would find out but I’ve not heard back from him on this and was hoping to get an answer sooner.

Settlement Advances Florida

I was injured in an accident in Florida and I’ve been looking for companies willing to provide settlement advances so I can get money before my case reaches a settlement or in hopes it will. I am a highway worker in Florida and I was injured on the job. I’ve hired a workers compensation lawyer and who knows how long this process may take. My attorney told me that if I really needed money bad that the only thing he could do was provide me with a few lawsuit funding companies that could provide workers compensation settlement advances here in Florida. I’ve taken a look at your site and I applied my case with Law Leaf last week. I got a call from one of your lenders on Friday and they stated they were contacting my attorney. My attorney sent me an email today after I called his offices and he said that the paperwork was sent. How can I check the status of my case?
