How much are these cases worth
I am in litigation for an accident that happened as a result of a boat that I was on hitting another boat in a canal. The boat ride was a scenic ride and there were a few people on board that were hurt including myself. I am not really looking for lawsuit funding I just would like a gage to find out exactly how much money I should ask for during the process. I am considering handling this case without an attorney and have been talking with both their company and insurance company. Any insight?

We can’t really tell you how much your case is worth but I can say considering the following expenses when you begin negotiating a settlement on your own behalf. Consider loss of wages if any, medical bills, ongoing medical expenses (if needed), pain and suffering, out of pocket expenses etc. When ever you evaluate the total worth of a personal injury accident these are some of the different types of expenses that you should consider. If for some reason you can’t come to an agreement it may be wise to hire legal representation from a lawyer that handles boat accident cases.
