Lawsuit Funding Virginia Beach Case
I was in a bar in Virginia Beach over the summer and a fight broke out. I am about 5′1 & 115 pounds, a female, and I was trampled. I was severely injured when someone ran over top of me to get to someone else. A lawsuit has been filed against this bar as a premises liability case and negligence on the bar. We will probably settle without having to go to court. I was wonder if there was a way to get an advance against my case if we are still negotiating a settlement with their attorneys or does the case have to be in court in order to get lawsuit funding?

You most certainly can apply for lawsuit funding prior to a case going to court. In fact, most personal injury cases including premises liability cases end up settling out of the courtroom. We provide lawsuit funding services for all personal injury cases regardless if they are in court or going through the negotiation stage.
