Plaintiff Funding in New Mexico
I have a personal injury case in New Mexico and I have a question about plaintiff funding. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and I was not hurt badly but I did miss several weeks of work going to doctors appointments and some rehabilitation for my injury. I contacted last week a lawsuit funding company that provided plaintiff funding for motor vehicle accidents here in New Mexico. When the company called me back after I applied with them online they told me that I didn’t qualify for plaintiff funding because my accident wasn’t extensive enough. I’m a little confused because my accident is worth a lot of money if I win my case. Am I going to run into the same thing with other companies that offer plaintiff funding or do you believe you may have a lender willing to look at my case? My attorney told me he is more than willing to cooperate with any company as long as the terms and agreement in the contract are beneficial to me.
