Settlement Advance Question
When I applied for a settlement advance last year I was denied because my attorney wouldn’t cooperate with the lender whom I applied with at the time. When I applied again after talking to my lawyer the same company told me that my lawyer again wasn’t cooperating but I know they sent over the paperwork because I talked to the receptionist at the law firm. I contacted the company on Thursday and they still haven’t gotten back to me. I asked the girl to resend the documents for the second time and she told me she would. When I followed up with her on Friday she told me the fax went through. I contacted the company again on Friday both by phone & by email and still no response. I’m not sure if they are running my application through your company nor do I fully understand this whole process but I can tell you that its important that I get this settlement advance now. If I were to apply with your company would it affect my approval process with the other company? I know when they run credit checks it can have a negative affect if you do it too often and I’m not real sure if this is how the settlement advance process works.

I don’t know the company who you applied with so I don’t know if they run their applications through LawLeaf. If you question is in regard to sending out your application to multiple lenders and will it effect your chances of an approval I would say no. It is always a good idea to shop your case around. If you would like feel free to apply for a settlement advance through LawLeaf. We will process your application immediately and you will certainly be hearing back from a lender immediately. We have gotten some of our clients settlement advances in the same day they applied for funding.
