Settlement Funding
I am trying to find a settlement funding company will to look over a new lawsuit that was filed last week. I hired an attorney to represent me. I contacted a settlement funding company last week previous to filing a lawsuit and I understand that I must have an attorney signed to my case. I contacted the company again on Friday and they told me that my case was too new and they wouldn’t be able to help me. I spoke to my attorney on Friday and he suggested I ask my question on this site. I understand that certain things must be in place in order to get settlement funding such as medical records and reports. This was a suggestion from the other company. I also understand that my type of case is easily funded because negligence can be easily proven. I’ve just begun my medical treatments and expect they could go on for some time. I am unclear though because how much time does it take before my case would qualify? I’ve got to think that there is a settlement funding company out there that provides funding for cases that aren’t that old. How would someone be able to pay off medical expenses and on going therapy expenses (stated on their website) if they can’t get the advance? It just doesn’t make that much sense to me and perhaps I was talking to the wrong company? The gentleman that I spoke to was very nice and helpful but I believe he really didn’t fully understand the whole process. I was under the impression that maybe he really didn’t deal with settlement funding all that much because his site had other services listed as well. I really would like some sort of explanation regarding my situation and if you beleive your company could provide settlement funding to me. I will not waste your time nor mine filling out an application on your site until I can be sure that my application will at least will be considered for settlement funding.

I am assuming that you sent the information over to the other settlement funding company correct? The company is right, there is no other funding sources out there that will provide settlement funding against a lawsuit without the representation of an attorney. As far as why the company won’t provide you funding at this time is unknown. Based upon our experience, if you have medical reports and documentation on the case, you have a chance to get approved. If there are no medical records or documentation than perhaps that is why the other company would provide you with funding at this time. If you have the information such as medical reports, ambulance reports and case documents than you have a chance. I would say apply with us today and if you don’t have all the necessary information the lender will continue to work with your attorney until all the information is available. There are often times when we receive application from clients that don’t have legal representation or sufficient documentation. We will continue to stay in touch with the client or attorney until all the necessary information is available. At that time we begin the processing of information and soon after the approval process. I would suggest applying online for settlement funding at LawLeaf and we will work for you.
I understand that! What I’m trying to say is that my attorney recommended asking this question on your site because he said we have all the information needed to go through with the funding. He has worked with your company in the past and said that you would know the answer. We have all that information already. We have the hospital and medical reports, no ambulance report because I didn’t go by ambulance and all the information pertaining to the injury ie. lawsuit. I don’t have the ongoing medical records because I’m just now starting the therapy and check-ups. I have all the other information. My attorney said he has worked with your company in the past after I told him I applied with the other settlement funding company. I just need an answer why they are saying what they are saying.
I didn’t know that is what you were asking, I apologize for the confusion. If your attorney believes you would qualify for settlement funding using our service because he’s been through the process with us prior then I’m assuming you have all the right information to process your application for settlement funding. As long as you have the information you provided in your comment than I see know reason why a company wouldn’t be interested in your case. While I can’t guarantee you will qualify, depending upon strength of case etc. I certainly believe they will submit your case to an underwriter for consideration. I don’t understand why another settlement funding company wouldn’t at least process your information. If you apply with us we will get right on it for you.
I didn’t mean to come off like that I’m just frustrated. I will apply with your company because my attorney has already worked with Lawleaf. I do have all the information and that was what I was trying to say in the first place. Can your company contact my attorney on Monday to get the information? I could have him contact you if that would be easier?
Not a problem. When you fill in the application for settlement funding in the comment section please refer to our discussion here. We will be in contact with you and your attorney on Monday once you provide us with the information on our online form. We look forward to working for you!
